We hope you enjoyed looking through our little shop and found something you really felt you needed or something someone you know would love to have.

If you have any questions or would like to make a request feel free to send us a message and we will see if we can work together to create something exciting and new.

Kumihimo is the traditional Japanese technique of braiding strands of silk to create intricately coloured cord. The cords, we have called kumihimo braids  are strong but also slender, and have a multitude of uses. Samurai once used kumihimo as laces for their armour. The traditional belt of the Kimono, the Obi, was once bound by a cord of kumihimo called an Obijime. It is an art both culturally significant and beautiful. We hope you enjoy the Kumihimo braids as much as we have creating them.

Please note colours may vary in the photographs due to the use of different devices and screen settings. Our bookmarks are ornamental or practical and not suitable for children under 5 years old. Please do not wash them and please keep away from naked flames. As with any item kept in direct sunlight, bleaching may occur. Resin is pretty hard-wearing but please avoid submerging your pieces in water, resin is only water resistant. Please avoid leaving your resin items in the sun or placed in environments of extreme temperatures for long periods of time as the resin can discolour and soften.
